OXYGEN PRESSURE CANNULA

An Oxygen Pressure Cannula is a medical device used to deliver supplemental oxygen therapy to patients who have lower oxygen levels. It consists of two prongs that deliver oxygen directly into the nostrils. There are two types of nasal cannulas: high-flow (HFNC) and low-flow (LFNC). HFNC delivers warm, humidified oxygen at flow rates up to 60 liters per minute, while LFNC delivers warm oxygen at flow rates up to 6 liters per minute. The choice between HFNC and LFNC depends on the patient's condition and the amount of oxygen needed.
